Cryptogram Daily

These Terms of Use govern your use of Cryptogram Daily ("the app"), published by BTH. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these terms.

Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, subject to these terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.

Subscriptions and purchases

  • The app offers an optional premium upgrade as auto-renewing subscriptions (weekly or yearly) and a one-time “lifetime” purchase.
  • “Lifetime” means the lifetime of the app — not your own lifetime. The one-time lifetime purchase unlocks premium features for as long as the app remains available and supported on your platform. It is in no way connected to your personal life expectancy, and it is not a promise that the app will remain available forever. If the app is discontinued or removed from the store, access may end.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account settings.
  • Any free-trial period is forfeited if you purchase a subscription before it ends. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

Acceptable use

You agree not to copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app except as permitted by law.

Quotes

The quotes used in puzzles are drawn from works believed to be in the public domain. If you believe a quote has been included in error, please contact us.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
